We're open! A new Mediterranean Deli in Elon
We're proud to open our doors of the Mediterranean Deli, Bakery, and Catering to Elon. We've always been a close part of university life in Chapel Hill so when Elon invited us to join their campus a year ago, we couldn't say no. While the Chapel Hill Mediterranean Deli has gradually expanded into older buildings on Franklin Street, the space at the Park Place at Elon was brand new - a blank canvas. It was an opportunity to build it the right way from the beginning.
It took more than a year to customize the space. We built out a kitchen, bakery, market, and dining room, using with only the best equipment and materials. Our Polka bakery equipment is imported from Israel. And our tiles and lamps are imported from Morocco. Despite some minor delays, we opened our doors on February 28, 2018. Going forward, we'll be open 7 days a week from 11am-9pm.
We would never have been able to open without the help of a few of our friends. A huge thanks to John McDonald and JP Ruppe, the owners of Park Place at Elon. They have been incredibly supportive in helping us set up the space. We'd also like to thank Steve Scott Jr with Foy Workman Construction, Inc. Steve coordinated the build out of the space- we couldn't be happier with how it all came together.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for your support so far. We look forward to serving Elon and the Triad community in the coming days, months and years.
